Ellington Ceiling Fan RoccocoHere's an excellent question and answer. I have an air conditioner for summer cooling, but I have heard that using a Ellington Roccoco ceiling fan will save me much more money then running the AC. Is it true?Yes. A ceiling fan can use one-tenth the energy of an air conditioner. If you are in a hot area, you can turn up the thermostat (reduce the cooling) on your air conditioner and use a ceiling fan to make up the difference. This will save energy while maintaining the same temperature. What an excellent method. Are you stuck on the installation process of your new Ellington Roccoco ceiling fan? Installing a ceiling fan can be tedious and time consuming. But fear not! We have an installation guide for installing your new Ellington Roccoco ceiling fan, written by our very own ceiling fan enthusiast and repairman, Dan Spiffy Neuman. So worry not! We are here to help you 110% of the way. When it comes to choosing the type of ceiling fan you are installing, modern and traditional Ellington Roccoco ceiling fans generally come to mind. A modern styled ceiling fan is different from traditional in many ways. A traditional style ceiling fan uses designs and patterns from older, established ceiling fan models as it's base, while a modern design will use more modern patterns and designs to present itself. To understand fully how a Ellington Roccoco ceiling fan operates, we must first look at the parts that constitute it. Beginning at the top, nearest the ceiling, the first part is the mounting bracket and covering canopy. The mounting bracket connects the fan to the ceiling electrical outlet; the canopy covers the bracket and wires and makes the fan look better. The second part and key to the fan's operation is the motor, its housing, and the fan blades. Most Ellington Roccoco ceiling fans come with downrods that you can use so your ceiling fan hangs down from the ceiling. If interested, we have hugger fans available also. Also known as flushmount or low profile Ellington Roccoco ceiling fans, these fans attach directly to the ceiling. This works well in settings with low ceiling space. Most ceiling fan manufacturers offer 3 different mounting systems either included with each fan or sold separately and or 3 different styles of fans. The first most common style is the standard downrod style which comes with anywhere from 4" to 12" downrods depending on the model. Ellington Roccoco offers both 4" and 6" downrods which are both included in most models. Longer or extension downrods are also available for higher ceilings (sold separately).
